Aleada W. Erickson
Aleada W. Erickson, 92, formerly of 70 Hoch Ave. Topton, died Friday, April 22, 2005, in the Henry Health Care Center of The Lutheran Home at Topton where she resided since December 19, 2003. She was married to the late Joseph H. Erickson who died February 1, 1991.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Ruth A. (Henderson) Little. She was a registered nurse at the Tuberculosis Sanitarium Glen Gardner, NJ during the 1950’s, she also worked in the School of Nursing and Public Health Care in New Jersey retiring in the 1960’s. She was a 1933 Graduate of St. Barnabas Hospital School of Nursing, Newark, NJ receiving a certificate as a registered nurse. She was Trustee for the Robbinsville Community Library during the 1970’s. She was a member of Robbinsville Methodist Church Robbinsville, NC.
She is survived by Daughter, Sandra C. (Stickles) Cullin of Topton; Step Daughter, Jacqueline (Erickson) Magruder of Coopersburg; Step Son, Gary Erickson of Marshalls Creek PA; Brother, George Little of Thomaston, Maine; 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren.
Services and interment are at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
