Alverta J. Schuler
Alverta J. Schuler, 92, of Hereford Township, died Monday, December 17, 2007 in Manor Care Nursing Home, Bethlehem, where she was admitted February, 2006. She was the wife of the late Randall R. Schuler, Sr., who died May 30, 1980.
Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Harry R. and Alice (Meck) Werst. She was a domestic worker in the local area for several years. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville.
She is survived by Son, Randall R. Schuler, Jr, at home; Daughter, Marlene L. (Carl), wife of LeRoy Marks, Jr., Hereford; Daughter-in-law, Nancy L. (Hill) Carl, Allentown, PA. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Sons, Ronald M. Carl in 1988 and Larry E. Carl in 2004.
Memorial Services are Friday, December 21, 2007, at 10:30 AM from Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5901 Old Kings Highway, Old Zionsville. Inurnment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown, PA. Friends may call Friday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the church. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
