Ardella A. DeLong
Ardella A. DeLong, 67, of Old Bowers Road, Bowers, PA, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008 in her residence. She was the wife of Herman G. DeLong, Jr. They were married on May 29, 1960.
Born in Krumsville, PA she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Sarah (Dietrich) O’Byle. She was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. She was a 1959 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Kutztown. She was a sales assistant at Wal-Mart, Wyomissing, for 15 years retiring in 2007.
She is survived by Husband, Sons, Kenneth W. husband of Jin Z. (Zhang) DeLong, Oakland, CA, Keith A. husband of Tracey (Bower) DeLong, Mertztown; Sisters, Patricia Rothermel, Krumsville, Elaine Silliman, Kutztown, Sarah Heck, Hamburg; Grandchildren, Nicholas A. DeLong, Robert A. DeLong, E. Kiki DeLong and O. Téa DeLong.
Funeral Services are Friday, June 20, 2008 at 10:30 AM in Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
