Erna Deisher
Erna Deisher, 79, of North 15th Street, Reading, PA, died Saturday, November 26, 2005, in her residence. She was the wife of Paul F. Deisher. They were married on May 2, 1947.
Born in Wattenscheid, Germany, she was the daughter of the late August and the late Franziska (Baranauzki) Weitkunat. She was a high school English teacher in the Tulpehocken High School (Berks County) for 20 years retiring in 1988. She graduated from Kutztown State College (now Kutztown University) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in English and she attended Penn State, Layfayette College and Temple University. She was a member of the New Apostolic Church, Allentown.
She is survived by Husband, Son, James J. Deisher, Tioga, PA (Tioga County); Brother, Alfred Weitkunat, Wyomissing; 3 Granddaughters, 3 Great Grandchildren.
Private Services are at the convenience of the family. Interment in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Maxatawny. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
