Florence K. Oswald
Florence K. “Flossie” Oswald, 80, of East Weis Street, Topton, died Saturday, September 4, 2004, in the Henry Health Care Center of The Lutheran Home at Topton, Longswamp Twp., where she was a patience since August 17, 2004. She was married to the late Luther R. Oswald, who died February 11, 1995.
Born in Topton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Vergie M. (Stauffer) Trexler. She was employed as a custodian at the Topton Post Office, Topton, for five years in the late 1990’s. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton.
She is survived by Sons, Robert L. Oswald, Allentown, Allen L. Oswald, Allentown; Daughters, Diane J. (Oswald) Noll, Fleetwood, Sandra F. (Oswald) Troxel, Fleetwood, Judy A. (Oswald) Bachman, Mertztown; Brother, John Trexler, Mertztown; 12 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Luther R., Jr. in 1952 and a daughter Jane A. (Oswald) Geist who died in 1984
Funeral Services are Thursday, September 9, 2004, 2:00 PM from Trinity Lutheran Church, Home Avenue & East Smith Street, Topton. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Thursday, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
The family requests contributions be made to Boy Scouts of America, Troop #163, 790 Stonehill Road, Shoemakersville, 19555. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
