Grace M. E. Kistler
Grace M. E. Kistler, 95, formerly of South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown, died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown, (Lancaster County) PA. She was the wife of the late Edward S. Kistler who died on January 16, 1981.
Born in Maxatawny Township she was the daughter of the late William A. and Mary Ellen (Wiltrout) Christman. She was a cook and server at Kutztown Area High School, Kutztown, for 12 years. She was then a sewing machine operator at the former Deisher’s Knitting Mill, Kutztown, for 10 years retiring in 1978. She was a member of the East Penn Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #336, Kutztown, for 50 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kutztown.
She is survived by Sister, Mamie L. (Christman) Kistler, Topton; Granddaughters, Amy L. Schlenker, Sally (Schlenker) Pfabe and Great Granddaughter Charlotte K. Pfabe, all of Maryland. She was predeceased by Daughter, LaRue L. (Kistler) Schlenker and Son, Bruce E. Kistler.
Funeral Services are Monday, June 4, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 West Main Street, Kutztown. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the church, Eastern Star Services at 1:45 PM.
