H. Irene Honsberger
H. Irene Honsberger, 96, died Friday, February 16, 2007 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton, where she resided. She was the wife of the late Arthur L. Honsberger who died on October 2, 1993.
Born in New Haven, CT, she was the daughter of the late Steven A. and Cecilia (Tilghman) Stevens. She graduated from West Chester University with a Master’s Degree in Music. She was a teacher in the Reading School District; and a former secretary for the Bakery and Confectionary Union #265, Reading.
She is survived by Niece, Mary F. wife of John Rule; Nephew, William wife of Anne Stevens, both of Wyomissing; 7 Great Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services are Friday, February 23, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Auditorium of the Lutheran Home at Topton, One South Home Avenue, Topton. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Friends may call Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
The family requests contributions to The Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 South Home Ave., Topton, 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
