Harold W. Miller

Harold W. Miller, 85, of Fleetwood died Sunday, December 10, 2006, at Saint Luke’s Hospital, Allentown PA. His wife Gloria L. (Gambler) Miller died May 11, 1979.

He was the son of late Lawrence H. and Florence E (Eckert) Miller. Harold worked at the former Beckerman Shoe Factory from 1939 to 1942 and from 1945 till retiring in 1984 as a molder at the former Kutztown Foundry and now McConway-Torley, Kutztown. Mr. Miller was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Dryville.

He is survived by Daughters, Linda D, (Miller) wife of Gerald Bowen of Fleetwood, Renae L. (Miller) wife of Robert L. Edinger of Kutztown; 3 Grandchildren, Krista M. (Bowen) wife of Pedro L. Torres, Russell L. Edinger and Katie A. Bowen; Great Grandson, Alexander W. Edinger; Sister, Gladys F. (Miller) widow of Earl Hertzog of Kutztown. He was predeceased by 2 Brothers, Kenneth L. and Gene Miller. He was the companion of Mildred M. Levan.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment with military honors in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Wednesday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
