Harvey “John” W. Zentner

Harvey “John” W. Zentner, 84, of Pheasant Run Fleetwood (Richmond Twp.), died Saturday, March 26, 2005, in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where he was admitted earlier in the day from Kutztown Manor where he resided since March 2nd. He was the husband of Edith M. (Heffner) Zentner. They were married December 25, 1941.

Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Harvey L. and Mamie F. (Bieber) Zentner. He was employed Allentown Portland Cement, Evansville as a foreman for 40 years retiring in 1985. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of Lighthouse Community Church Lyons Station and Becker’s St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Molltown.

He is survived by Son, Rev. Alton R. Zentner of Fleetwood; Daughter, Jane E. (Zentner) Folk of Blandon; Sister, Anna (Zentner) Lagler of Zionsville; 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 1 Step Grandaughter.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home 333 Greenwich Street Kutztown. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday, 7:00 - 8:30 PM.

The family requests contributions to Lighthouse Community Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 287, Lyons, 19536. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
