Irene F. Adam
Irene F. Adam, 92, formerly of Maxatawny Township, died Saturday, December 20, 2003, in the Henry Health Care Center of the Lutheran Home, Topton.
Born in Maxatawny Township, she was a daughter of the late Jacob E. and Katie N. (Dietrich) Wanner. She worked in the kitchen for Kutztown University for 26 years before retiring in 1974. She was a member of Zion Moselem Lutheran Church, Kutztown. She was a member of Kutztown Fire Company auxiliary and the Kutztown Senior Citizens, where she was named Outstanding Senior Citizen of 1998.
She is survived by Sons, Franklin G. of Longswamp Township, Paul L. of Rockland Township, Berks County; Daughters, Catherine R. Muth of Longswamp Township, Ruth I. Reinhard of Washington Township, Fern M. Kline of Maxatawny Township; 13 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services are Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at 10:00 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Friends may call Tuedsay from 7:00 – 8:30 PM.
Contributions may be made to Zion Moselem Lutheran Church memorial fund. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
