Isaac Z. Newswanger
Isaac Z. Newswanger,age 74, of 80 High Road, Kutztown PA, died Tuesday, September 18, 2001 in his home. He was the Husband of Rachael E. (Kulp) Newswanger. The couple celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last November.
Born in East Earl PA, he was the Son of the late Samuel S. and Lydia (Zimmerman) Newswanger. He was a Self-Employed Farmer from 1950 to 1985. He was a Partner from 1971 until present at Newswanger's Greenhouse, Kutztown.
He is survived by his Wife; Daughters, Mabel, wife of Norman W. Burkholder of Mertztown PA, Rachael, wife of Alvin K. Shirk of Latham MO and Edna, wife of Eugene R. Weaver of Fleetwood PA; Sons, Isaac Newswanger of Carson City MI, Ernest Newswanger of Kutztown PA, Phares Newswanger of Kutztown PA and Lawrence Newswanger of Hubbardston MI; Sisters, Catherine Newswanger of Narvon PA and Lena (Newswanger) Nolt of Fleetwood PA; Brothers, Wayne Z. Newswanger of East Earl PA, Amos Z. Newswanger of Narvon PA, Samuel Z. Newswanger of Leol PA, Phares Z. Newswanger of Goodville PA, David Z. Newswanger of Fortuna MO and Rueben Z. Newswanger of Shelby OH; and 66 Grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by his daughters, Rebecca, wife of Elmer O. Ringler and Lena Newswanger.
Services continue from his residence, 9:30 AM Saturday, Septmeber 22, 2001 in the Center Mennonite Church, Kutztown PA. Family and Friends may call 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Family home, Friday evening. Interment in Center Mennonite Church, Kutztown. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Homes, Kutztown.
