John C. Queman, Jr
John C. Queman, Jr., age 74, of 425 Gun Club Road, Kutztown, Greenwich Township PA, died Wednesday. August 30, 2000 in his home. He was the husband of Lillian R. (Mertz) Queman. The couple celebrated their 50th Anniversary this past October.
Born in Orefield PA, he was the son of the late John C. Queman, Sr. and Tillina Mantana (Smith) Queman. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kutztown PA. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He was a Cement Sampler for Allentown Portland Cement, Evansville PA until retiring after 30 years. He was the former President and Treasurer, and currently Secretary of the Relief Association of the Kutztown Rod and Gun Club, Kutztown PA.
He is survived by his Wife; Daughter, Christine M. (Queman) Olson of Bangor PA; Son, John P. Queman of Kutztown PA; Brother Miles H. Queman of Kutztown PA; 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter.
Funeral Services will held Saturday at 1:00 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Homes, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown PA. Friends may call 12:00 Noon until time of services. Internment will be in New Bethel Zion Cemetery, Kutztown PA.
