Joyce L. Neimeyer

Joyce L. Neimeyer, 71, of North Park Avenue, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.), died Friday, August 12, 2005, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., near Allentown, where she was a patient since August 5, 2005. She was the wife of Leon Q. Neimeyer, they were married February 26, 1955.

Born in Longswamp Twp., Berks County, PA, she was the daughter of the late George U. and the late Irene (Guldin) Isamoyer. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Kutztown Chapter #336, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the reformed congregation of Zion Union Church, Maxatawny.

She is survived by Husband, Son, Douglas J. Neimeyer, Mertztown (Rockland Twp.); Daughters, Sandra I. (Neimeyer) Hall, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.), Sheila A. (Neimeyer) VanWicklen, Collegeville, Montgomery County; Brothers, Herbert Isamoyer, Topton, George A. Isamoyer, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.), Edwin Isamoyer, Fleetwood (Maidencreek Twp.); Sisters, Anna (Isamoyer) Eisenhard, Emmaus, Lehigh County, Betty (Isamoyer) Oswald, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.), Jean (Isamoyer) Althouse, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.); 6 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, August 16, 2005, 10:30 AM from Zion’s Union Church, Route 222, Maxatawny. Interment in Zion (Maxatawny) Union Cemetery, Maxatawny. Friends may call Tuesday, 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the church.

Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to Zion’s UCC Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 100, Maxatawny, 19538. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
