Mary Lou Shoemaker
Mary Lou Shormaker, 74, of Mertztown, died Saturday, November 3, 2007 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Stewart C. Shoemaker, who died April 7, 2006.
Born in Cetronia, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Mervin E. and Edna G. (Mangold) Kuhns. She was a member of Cedar Union UCC Church, Allentown. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by Daughters, Nancy A. (Shoemaker) wife of William C. Hess, and Janet M. (Shoemaker) wife of Joseph B. Kepnach, both of Fleetwood; Son, Dean A., husband of Diane C. (Cosmos) Shoemaker, Alburtis; Sisters, Viola E. (Kuhns) Frey, Florence E. (Kuhns) Hartzell, and Doris D. (Kuhns) Strauss; Brothers, Lewis M. Kuhns and Arthur M. Kuhns; Grandchildren, Jason A. Hess, Nicole K. Hess, Brian S. Hess, Andrew D. Shoemaker, Amanda K. Shoemaker, Anthony A. Kepnach, Johnathan A. Kepnach, and Kimberly A. Kepnach. She was predeceased by Son, Terry L. Shoemaker in 1973.
Funeral Services are Wednesday, November 7th at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis Street, Topton, PA. Interment will be in Cedar Church Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The family requests contributions be made to Cedar Union Church Memorial Fund, 3419 Broadway Street, Allentown, PA 18104. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
