Milton L. Christman

Milton L. “Milty” Christman, 91, of Cardinal Way, Fleetwood died Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in his residence. He was the husband of Florabelle C. (Hilbert) Christman. They were married on June 26, 1947.

Born in Little Gap, PA he was the son of the late Ralph and Ida (Latshaw) Christman. He worked at the Caloric Corporation, formerly of Topton, for 44 years retiring in 1980. He was a First Infantry Staff Sergeant in the US Army during WWII and was involved in three invasions. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was a member of the Ray A. Master, Post #217 American Legion, Topton. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton.

He is survived by Wife, Son, Dale L. husband of Bonnie (Smith), Blandon; Daughters, Rita M. wife of Kenneth H. Lash, Mohnton, Nancy M. wife of Kevin B. DeLillo, Reading, Faye A wife of Louis Kirsch, Reading; Stepsisters, Mary Jane (Christman) wife of Drew M. Stump, Kutztown, Cynthia L. (Christman) wife of David M. Kramer, Topton; 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial Services are Monday, February 26, 2007 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Inurnment with Military Honors in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

The family requests that contributions by made in Milton’s honor to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 37, Topton, PA 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
