Raymond A. Yergey Jr.
Raymond A. Yergey Jr., age 42, of Longsdale Road, Longswamp Township, died Friday, September 12, 2003, in his home as a result of a house fire that occurred earlier this day.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Esther A. Muth of E. Franklin Street, Topton, and the late Raymond A. Yergey Sr. He worked in the shipping department of Can Corp. of America, Blandon, for more than 20 years until July.
He is survived by Mother; Half Brothers, Paul of Topton, Larry of Allentown; Sisters, Ethel M. Hackman and Debra A. Fritzinger, both of Topton, Linda L. Heyer of Lyons, Roxanne L. Strauss of Mertztown; Half Sisters, Arlene Smith in Ohio, Evelyn Wanamaker of Allentown.
Funeral services are 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2003, Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers. Interment in Lyons Cemetery (Maxatawny Twp.) Lyons, PA. Friends and family may call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Monday, Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis St., Topton. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
