Richard C. Benjamin
Richard C. Benjamin, 74, of Alburtis, died Saturday, November 14, 2009 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Erma E. (Kunkel) Benjamin. They were married on April 30, 1955.
Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late George and Bertha M. (Keim) Benjamin. He was a member of St. John’s UCC Church, Pricetown. He was a sewing machine mechanic for various companies in Berks and Lehigh Counties.
He is survived by Wife; Sisters, Bertha (Benjamin) Stewart, Windsor Township, Sarah (Benjamin) Hess, Alburtis, Violet (Benjamin) wife of Edgar Romig, Topton, Frieda (Benjamin) Fox, Leesport; Brothers, Raymond Benjamin, Fleetwood, George husband of Dorothy (Monberger) Benjamin, Bechtelsville; and dogs B-Gee and Jasmine.
Funeral Services are Friday, November 20, 2009 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
