Richard H. Kruse

Richard H. Kruse, 75, of Callowhill St., Topton, died Thursday, October 5, 2006, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, near Allentown.

Born in Alburtis, he was a son of the late Arthur W. and Marie S. (Dankel) Kruse. He worked in the assembly department at the former Caloric Corporation, Topton. He then worked as a laborer for Black & Decker, Montgomery County, until his retirement in 1996. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a life member of Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion, Topton. He was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mertztown.

He is survived by Cousins, Delores K. (Dankel) wife of George E. Myers, Whitehall; Clark E. Rabenold, Macungie, Terry L. (Rabenold) Billowitch, Allentown, Hazel (Hartman) Kline, Margate, Florida, Albert Dankel, Emmaus.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis St., Topton. Interment with Military Honors in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, Alburtis. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

The family requests contributions to the Honor Guard of Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion, 115 East Centre Ave., Topton, 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
