Samuel M. ManmillerSamuel M. Manmiller, 69, of Fleetwood, died Thursday, November 26, 2009 surrounded by family in the home of his stepdaughter, Shellie R. Stewart, Strausstown.

Born in Leesport, he was a son of the late John P. and Erma M. (Grim) Manmiller. He was employed as a plumber for A. P. Merkel, Inc., Fleetwood, for 15 years until his retirement in 2002. Prior to that, he worked in the same capacity at the former W. A. Brenner, Inc., Leesport for 25 years. Sam was a 1958 graduate of Muhlenberg Township High School. He was a member of Pike Township Sportsmen’s Association, Oley.

He is survived by Son, Todd D. Manmiller, Florida; Stepdaughter, Shellie R. (Bausher) wife of Lee A. Stewart, Strausstown. There are 3 Grandchildren, Sarah M., Ashley M. and Michael J. Manmiller; 2 Step Grandchildren, Elianna M. and Quaid E. Stewart. In addition, he is survived by Sisters, Shirley M. (Manmiller) wife of Larry C. Youse, Kutztown, Sara J. (Manmiller) wife of Russell Fetter, Temple, and a Brother, Larry J. husband of Joan A. (Seaman) Manmiller, Fleetwood. He was predeceased by a Son, Timothy J. Manmiller who died August 31, 2001.

Funeral Services are Thursday, December 3, 2009, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Saint John’s (Gernant’s) Cemetery, Ontelaunee Township. Friends may call Wednesday evening 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions to Berks Visiting Nurse Association Hospice, 1170 Berkshire Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
