Sarah C. Obyle
Sarah C. Obyle, age 80, of the Lutheran Home, Topton, formerly of Hamburg and Kempton, died Sunday, July 27, 2003, in Henry Health Care Center, Topton. She was the wife of the late Ralph J. Obyle.
Born in Maidencreek Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Morris and Maude (Gehret) Dietrich. . She was a trimmer for the former Saucony Shoe Co. and the former Wenton Shoe Co., both of Kutztown, before retiring.
She is survived by Daughters, Patricia E. Rothermel and Elaine A. Silliman, both of Kutztown, Ardella A. DeLong of Mertztown, Sarah A. Heck of Hamburg; Brother, Herbert of Fort Myers, Fla.; Sister, Dorothy Kline of Fleetwood; 10 Grandchildren, a Stepgranddaughter, 14 Great Grandchildren, 3 Stepgreat Grandchildren, a Stepgreat Great Grandson.
Funeral Services are 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 30, 2003, Grace Lutheran Church, Topton. Family and friends may call 9:30-10:30 AM Wednesday in the church.
Contributions may be made to Hospice St. John, Allentown, or American Diabetes Association, Bethlehem. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
