Walter S. Edinger
Walter S. Edinger, 82, formerly of Church Road (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown, died Wednesday, September 7, 2005, in Kutztown Manor, 120 Trexler Avenue, Kutztown, where he had been a resident since July 31st.
Born in Topton, PA, he was the son of the late Robert W. and the late Olivia (Smith) Edinger. He was employed from 1946 until his retirement in 1985 in the sheet metal department of Caloric Corporation, at its former Topton Plant. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, he was a Purple Heart Recipient.
He is survived by Daughter, Judith A. (Edinger) Fick (Richmond Twp.) Kutztown; Brother, Norman S. Edinger, Topton; 2 Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter.
Funeral Services are Monday, 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis St., Topton. Interment with military honors in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Monday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
