Wayne C. Reinert

Wayne C. Reinert, 77, of Lyons Road, Fleetwood, PA (Rockland Township), died Wednesday, November 30, 2005, in St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, Reading, where he had been a patient since Tuesday, November 29th. He was the husband of Mildred R. (Shade) Reinert. They were married on September 2, 1950.

Born in Maxatawny Township, Berks County, PA (Village of Bowers), he was the son of the late Earl and the late Verna (Geiger) Reinert. He was employed at the former Caloric Corporation, Topton, for 47 years retiring in 1990. While there he worked as a molder, he worked in the parts department and he was a tow motor operator in the receiving department. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #217, Topton, and the Kutztown Fire Company, Kutztown. He was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Wilma M. (Reinert) Herman, Topton; Sister, Anna M. (Reinert) Keller, Mertztown (Longswamp Township); 2 Granddaughters. He was predeceased by a Son, Stuart W. Reinert, February 1, 1999.

Funeral Services are Monday, December 5, 2005 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis Street, Topton. Interment with Military Honors in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Fleetwood (Rockland Township). Friends may call Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM.

The family requests contributions to contributions to New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
