Willard C. Gangaware

Willard C. Gangaware, 88, formerly of Golden Key Road, Kempton, and Kutztown, died Sunday, July 17, 2005, in Kutztown Manor Nursing Home, Kutztown, where he resided since July 22, 2004. He was the husband of late Marion L. (Lapp) Gangaware who died February 20, 1983.

Born in Cherryville, Northampton County, he was the son of the late Calvin C. Gable and the late Beulah Gangaware. He was employed as a truck driver for D. Theodoredis & Sons, Inc., Bethlehem, from 1978 until 1981. Prior to that he was employed in the same capacity at the former Hall’s Motor Transit Co., Kutztown from 1957 to 1978; and Modern Transfer Co., Allentown from 1945-1957. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, and the Army National Guard for a total of 26 years. He received the Pennsylvania Commendation Medal for Meritorious and Outstanding Service to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on April 18, 1977.

He is survived by Sons, Glenn G. husband of Deborah (Marks) Gangaware, New Tripoli, Lehigh County, Shawn C. husband of Bernadine K. (Hummel) Gangaware, Kempton, with whom he last resided; Half Sister, Winifred (Gable) Nierer, Walnutport, Lehigh County; 3 Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter. He was predeceased by a Son, Randall J. Gangaware, who died November 1989, and a Grandson, Simeon G. Gangaware in 1995.

Memorial Service is Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 7:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment is private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
