JIM ORWIG is a graduate of Blue Mountain Area High School in Schuylkill County. Jim is also a graduate of Penn State and Scranton Universities and served in various roles in public education for thirty-six years. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kutztown.
Jim lives in Kutztown with his wife, Andrea. Combined they have five children and six grandchildren. They spend much of their time taking trips to Ocean City, New Jersey and across county visiting friends. They are often seen visiting their children and attending their grandchildren’s sporting events.
In his free time, Jim enjoys going to Eagles concerts, spending time observing nature, going for walks in their woods, and spending time preparing for holidays to be shared with Andrea and their family and friends. He and Andrea are avid Penn State Football fans and during their retirement they plan to attend as many games as possible in State College.
He has been a member of our funeral home staff since 2025.
